Ibn Masood, may God bless him swear by Allaah that to be saying the Almighty (what it means):
( (And of mankind is he who purchases idle talk to mislead from the path of God))
Abu Amer and Abu Maalik al-Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with them that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
((There will be among my nation people who will regard adultery, silk, alcohol And musical instruments as permissable)).
The prohibition of the Prophet (peace be upon him) on the Hearts, the drum and his description of the flute as a voice fool bawdy.
scholars including Imam Ahmad have stated:
Allah's mercy on the prohibition of musical instruments and play Kalaud, mandolins, and clarinet, and cymbals, psaltery, and no doubt that the musical instruments in the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) includes the modern musical instruments as a forbidden musical instruments, like the guitar.
* a note worth mentioning that listening to the music which include using the musical instruments which have strings or needs blowing air in them or alike is considered a minor sin.
