Here are some verses of Holy Quran about Human Rights:

Quran Says “Every human child is equally worthy of respect, thus on account of one's genesis there can be no discrimination; there is no difference between one man and the other: (17:70)”. These rights have been given to man by Allah Almighty and no ruler or emperor can abolish them.

The most basic human right is the right to live. Quran says “. . . do not take any human being's life (the life) which God has declared to be sacred -- otherwise than in (the pursuit of) justice: this has He enjoined upon you so that you might use your reason” (Surah 6: Al-An'am: 151).

The second right of human being is the right to respect. Quran Says “Now, indeed, We have conferred dignity on the children of Adam” (Surah 17: Al-Isra':70).

Then comes the right to respect for which Quran says “O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye serve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do” (Surah 4: An-Nisa': 13f;).

Surah 36. Ya Sin

إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ ﴿36:82  (36:82) Whenever He wills a thing,   He just commands it “Be” and it is.

Some verses of Quran about the Quran:

It is He who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them. His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom - although they were before in clear error. (Al-Jumu'ah 62:2)

And it was not [possible] for this Quran to be produced by other than Allah, but [it is] a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of the [former] Scripture, about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds. (Yoonus 10:37)

Then do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it had been from [any] other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction. (An-Nisaa’ 4:82)

There has come to you enlightenment from your Lord. So whoever will see does so for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever is blind [does harm] against it. And [say], "I am not a guardian over you." (al-An'aam 6:104)

Say: "If the mankind and the jinns were together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another." (Al-Israa' 17:88)

And We have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? (Al-Qamar 54:17)

An Arabic Quran, without any crookedness (therein) in order that they may become God-fearing. (Az-Zumar 39:28)

Verses of Quran which forbid the consumption of swine flesh
« Reply #16 on: Monday 21 June 2010, 02:20 »
Almighty Allah has blessed us with so many delicious and really healthy foods to eat. But there are certain things which need to avoided and the instructions given by the Almighty Allah regarding those things are pretty clear.

Allah Says in Quran “0 ye believe!  eat of the good things that We have provided for you be grateful to Allah if it is Him ye worship” (2:172). One such thing that needs to be avoided is swine Flesh or Pork. In Holy Quran Allah Almighty has forbidden the use of swine flesh.

Quran Says “He hath forbidden you only carrion, and blood, and swine flesh, and that which hath been immolated to (the name of) any other than Allah. But he who is driven by necessity, neither craving nor transgressing, it is no sin for him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful” (Qur'an 2:173).

t is a universal fact that this world is a temporary and the life we are living here will come to an end one day. This is an ultimate reality which no one has ever denied. But what will happen afterwards, when the world will come to an end, nothing will be left behind?  After the end of the world there will be the Day of Judgment as mentioned in Quran. The day when Almighty Allah will bring all the creatures back to life and then will be the judgment phase. The judgment of a man’s deed been committed in the world, rewards against the good deeds and punishment against the bad one is what will happen that Day.

Quran has mentioned about the Day of the Judgment and the happenings of events on that day in its various verses. Given below are few such verses of Quran:
And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Approaching Day, when hearts are at the throats, filled [with distress]. For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed. (Ghaafir 40:18)
And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be taken from it, nor will they be aided. (Al-Baqarah 2:48)
On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged. (An-Nahl 16:111)
And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant? (Az-Zumar 39:60)
O mankind, fear your Lord. Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible thing. On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe. (Al-Hajj 22:1-2)
