Saudi's forsake Allah!
« on: Sunday 05 July 2009, 17:35 »
The head of Mossad, Israel's overseas intelligence service, has assured Benjamin Netanyahu, its prime minister, that Saudi Arabia would turn a blind eye to Israeli jets flying over the kingdom during any future raid on Iran's nuclear sites.
Earlier this year Meir Dagan, Mossad's director since 2002, held secret talks with Saudi officials to discuss the possibility.
The Israeli press has already carried unconfirmed reports that high-ranking officials, including Ehud Olmert, the former prime minister, held meetings with Saudi colleagues. The reports were denied by Saudi officials.
"The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia," a diplomatic source said last week.

It's been two years since the Americans trying to pursue Saudis in  general and the Arab world in particular in accepting that Iran is not Arab, remember, that Arabs have strong bond to their clan system and according to them their first identity is from clan, the Arabs comes later and Moslem in the end.

After the end of the 1991 Gulf War which shook the whole Arab world, the Americans achieved multiple targets - First ofcourse was the fact for the Arabs that a superpower is lying next to your land, secondly the US invasion and subsequent battle with Saddam's army sort of laid a claim that "we saved your behind from Saddam's gigantic power". The Third one was the collective orders of US weapons came to a staggering figure of $ 38.8 Billion, which was necessary for ailing US arms industry.

The fourth one in the most sensitive issue, Saudi Arabia is the center of Sunni Islam, while Iran is the center of Shi'a Islam, the existence of these two in Iraq also fuels the situation wherein the Iraqui Shias looks towards Iran for support and the Sunnis to Saudi Arabia.

The US is playing the same game the British colonialists played in Arabia in the days of Ottoman Empire where they "nurtured" the growth of "Arab Nationalism" which at its peak was then used against Turks, whcih eventually caused the downfall of Ottoman Empire.

So, keeping these above said facts, I leave it on you to do the calculation but let me say that
"America is a like a big dog in a tiny room, every time it wages its tails, something falls off"

However, this writeup by a Jewish blogger seems to look into the realm:

Samson Blinded has posted a new item, 'Why bomb Iran?'

Israelis make too much fuss of Joe Biden’s interview where he stated that
Israel, as a sovereign nation, is entitled to take any course of action against
Iran. Biden’s statement is nonsense: sure, a sovereign nation cannot attack
another country. Neither it necessarily changes the US position: vice president
is unable to say that Israel must dance the American line, barred from defending
herself. Any true green light to Israeli attack would have come privately rather
than broadcast on ABC.

The situation remains unpredictable because Israel attack on Iran depends on a
few people’s decision. Sensitive to his patriotic credentials, Netanyahu is
highly likely to order the attack. He won’t like to be a prime minister who
allowed Iran to go nuclear.

The attack will be wrong on all counts.

Iran has already removed enough of enriched uranium to a location safe from
Israeli strikes. The labs deep in the mountains are not vulnerable to attacks by
conventional weapons. Israeli strike cannot stop Iran’s nuclear program
completely.

Unlike Arabs, Iran is a civilized and responsible country. It has started no
war in modern history and there is no chance it would nuke Israel. Iran won’t
transfer nukes to Hezbollah which might embroil the Shia empire into apocalyptic
war with Jews. Moreover, Hezbollah itself is responsible militia which, unlike
Al Qaeda, would never use nuclear weapons. Hezbollah firmly entered the
political process in Lebanon and substantially keeps it promise to leave Israel
alone after her withdrawal from Lebanon. No less certainly, Iran won’t
transfer nuclear weapons to the despised Syrians who are only good in taking
Iranian money.

Israel has a target much easier and more urgent than Iran: North Korea. The
entire world would applaud if Israel launches a Jericho III missile at Yongbyon.
No sanctions, no repercussions, plenty of positive publicity. It is North Korea
rather than Iran which is likely to sell nuclear weapons to terrorists and the
technology to everyone. Feasibility of a similar strike against Pakistan depends
on the reliability of our intelligence on that country’s nuclear storages. In
any case, under current leadership Pakistan won’t retaliate against Israel for
destroying its reactors even if we fail to destroy the allegedly disassembled
nuclear weapons as well.

Israel had already agreed once to nuclear Iran: under the Shah, we helped Iran
to develop the bomb. Nuclear Iran poses no practical threat and plenty of
advantages. Extension of Iranian influence into the Saudi oilfields populated by
Shiites could cause major unrest there, possibly secession, and strip the
Wahhabite kingdom of the revenues it uses to promote militant Islam worldwide. A
nuclear exchange between Iran and Saudis, where the latter would use Pakistani
nuclear bombs, will bleed the Muslim world.

Likewise with Egypt. The IAEA found traces of weapon-grade uranium near the
Egyptian reactors, confirming our long-standing estimate that Egypt runs a
low-profile military nuclear program, slowly accumulating weapons-grade uranium
on its research reactors. Muslim Brotherhood, Egypt’s only untainted political
organization, will come to power the moment the government is weakened. Mubarak
violated an old agreement with the Brotherhood which allowed it to run in
municipal elections but not for the parliament. After the government grossly
rigged the elections, Muslim Brotherhood vowed to sweep in the parliament. No
doubt, the Brotherhood will use nuclear weapons to deter Israel from repressing
Hamas, its subsidiary organization. Nuclear Iran would keep Egypt preoccupied
with the needs more urgent than Israel, especially since the Sunni Muslim
Brotherhood won’t get along with Shiite Iran.

Iran was not very aggressive even under Khomeini. Both Iran and Iraq dragged
each other into the war rather than started it deliberately. Hezbollah was
created to help Lebanese Shia against hostile Arabs rather than to extinguish
the Jewish state. Iran only developed very close relations with Hamas in the
recent years when the group became moderate by terrorists’ standards. Iran’s
strong relationship with Syria is religiously motivated to allow Shiites
unhindered pilgrimage to the tombs of imams, located in Syria. If weaning Syria
away from Iran is of any importance, that can be easily achieved by offering
Syria a bit more than is currently provided by Iran; an amount in the range of
$1.5 billion a year would do.

Unlike Arabs, Iranians are nice and smart, not prone to violence. Though
Western media reported a million people taking part in post-election riots, not
even a hundred thousand people could fit into the respective streets of Tehran.
Iran was the only Muslim country whose population demonstrated spontaneously in
support of the United States after 9/11. Unlike Arabs, Iranians overwhelmingly
reject Islamic terrorism; they despise Arabs and especially their Palestinian
variety. Unlike Sunni Muslims, Iranians attach very little importance to
Jerusalem. A lack of agreement with Iran renders Saudi peace offer empty of
content, while an agreement with Iran makes peace with Saudis and Syria
unimportant.

For the last three thousand years, we intermittently joined Persians against
other enemies, and Egypt – against Persians. A Kenyan president of the United
States might imagine lasting peace, but we know better: in this region, only
hatreds last. Actually, in any region.

Persians helped us to capture Jerusalem fifteen centuries ago, and are no less
useful today.

Very well said they never consider anyone greater to them.... If a Father and Mother both are Arabs then they are called Ulaiti which is of greater value to them...

The Saudis should not allow this, in the past they have allowed the US to step-over Muslim interests, In my opinion if the Saudi have a pinch of faith in them, they would have made the US and the collapse of Western Europe back in the 70s possible.

If they had a pinch of love for Islam in their power-drunk bodies, they would have sided with USSR to wipe out US economy and their "Industrial Military Complex", If they had a just a bit of sympathy for Islam, they wouldn't have allowed Anwer Saadat to remove Russian Military personnel and their equipment from the Egyptian soil - This act of extreme foolishness allowed to the Israelis to have an upper hand on Lebanon and the subsequent attack of 1982.

Their wealth and influence makes them the leading country, alas, they would have opted for the 'leadership' of the Ummah, they have the power to stop the economy of any country they want, sorry when I say that they helped the US to speed-up the economic collapse of Soviet Union by decreasing their prices in the world market which eventually caused a financial collapse to the USSR.

However, separately I am allowing myself to "cut & paste" a very interesting article about House of Al-Saud, which is very self explanatory.
