:sis s and  :bro s,  Assalamoalikum,
I am planning a party next year, Graduation Party. Can anyone pls help me how to organise? And also the menu and the quantity. I need suggestions what to cook or make or order. I am short on budget but still want to have a good party.
I need Pakstani recipes, may add a few Midterranian  or American foods too. I am wondering if it has to be a Lunch or  Tea Party. I know Pakistanis like Lunch. But I do have some American and Arabic friends too. I want everyone to enjoy the food. It is going to be in May sometimes. I really appreciate it.

After a long time of struggle, came the time to celebrate and thank Allah for all His blessings upon this woman.
I wanted to rent a Hall for the party. It was expensive and lot of work too, though it was all set up for parties.
I planned to have the party at home by clearing the rooms for people to move around: for men,for women, for boys and girls. A Christian pastor lend me chairs. Usually girls will sit on carpetted floor. But on this Graduation Party I did not want them to sit on floor. I bought some Cheffing Dishes to keep the food warm. Catered from a Halal Restaurant and fetched it myself.Bought some balloons from Dollar Store. Here is the Menu:
 Plain Rice
 Naan
 Chicken qorma
 Beef Chaplee Kabob
 Fish
 Samosas(as appetizers)
 Raita
Chutnee
Cake
Sodas
Water

We cut the cake first and put it back in the refridgerator and served as dessert.

Everybody liked the food and praised our organisational skills.
Got gifts and cash as graduation gifts.
I counted the cash. I came out almost the same amount as much as I had spent.
Allah is great. I always count on Him.
I am grateful that all came and I really really did not expect any gifts of any kind.
Just wanted to share with you and I thank everybody who shared their ideas. My Party was a success.
My daughter is now doing her residency and my son is the freshman. AlhamdolilAllah.

Thank you  :sis , They loved the food. AlhamdolilAllah, this day came in my life. I have been planning this for a year.
(Sometimes it hurts me when Muslims do not want to help other Muslims. Why is it that people of other religion are helpful while our people shun you when you need them?  I ask for Allah's forguiveness for thinking like that because HE is with me. Things go very well when you ask Allah, the Most Gracious,Most Merciful. Allah made arrangements for the chairs through that good hearted Christian. It is about humanity not religion).
