Alhamdulillah!
« on: Saturday 20 September 2008, 13:03 »
10. Alhamdullilah!

I sense the freshness of the breath I take,
I feel the comfort of Your presence.
I feel the serenity as my days go by,
I feel Your mercy, with your guidance.

How beautiful this feeling is, I can not compare,
The greatness of this happiness, with the sadness I have endured.
I gaze with such wonder,
With tears in my eyes I catch a glimpse of Jannah.
This is what I feel when I have completed my deen.
This is what I feel, when I have pleased the One who created me.
Alhamdullilah, alhamdullilah, alhamdullilah!
My heart is at ease, the sickness has cured,
These tears have flowed and have cleansed my soul.
Oh how great this feeling is, all praise to Allah the Almighty!
My days seem so clear,
Without no fear,
Allah has indeed accepted my prayer!
Alhamdullilah!

What sadness you have endured?

To be honest, before i wrote this poem, i went through a very long period of hardship, and wallahi i was so distressed! However, i called upon Allah to show me what is best for me, and it took time but alhamdulillah Allah showed me a way out Akhi. This experience taught me the greatness of Allah's mercy and how in seeking for Him it is, that we will find peace.

Du'a is very strong and no matter how long it takes for the hardships to change, the dark clouds will one day be moved with the wind of patience and the sun will rise and shine once again with the hope in Allah! And so after Allah showed me a way out and eased my heart...i wrote this poem!

SubhanAllah w-alhamdulillah w-Allahu akbar!

Hope you liked it, ukhtuka...

mashaaAllah. I am happy for you. I wish my trouble would go the same way.

Brother i can not ever say that i truly know what you are feeling, because i may never have experienced what you're going through, your difficultly, but know that Allah is watching your struggle and He alone is our Protector! Allah will reward the believers even for the pain felt from a prick of a thorn, and no doubt your struggle with patience will be fruitful inshaAllah.

You are in my du'as brother inshaAllah, i pray Allah accepts our prayers...

Here are some words i came across and ayahs from Qur'an that i want to share with you, it makes us reflect, alhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal!

Be optimistic even if you are in the eye of a storm…”Allah burdens not a soul except [with that within] its capacity…” [Qur’an 2:286]

‘Help comes with patience’ “…Verily in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest” [Qur’an 13:28]

‘Put ur trust in the Ever-lasting Who will never die’ “…and put ur trust in Allah if u are indeed belivers.” [Quran 5:23]

‘Prayer is guaranteed to bring tranquillity and chase away worry’

Always remember brother, that you are not alone and this world is only a journey to the eternal life in the Hereafter, this world is only a short stay, so be patient and Al-Jannah will await you, inshaAllah! And what better Reward for those who are patient then to know Allah is pleased with you and what better reward than a place in Al-Jannah? Alhamdulillah!

sami yusuf islam --- i read your posts and all i see is such a kind and lovely soul...  i hope you find the peace deep inside you and with that the clarity, serenity and joy that is the gift of God.

by this time, perhaps(?), your troubles will have passed - so maybe i am writing a little late...
