may Allah bless you and reward you

you are so kind to make a great blessing out of my hardships.

Being born and having lived in an arabic country is not so much of a blessing at an era where being an arab automatically supposes you are a potential terrorist.

Being an arab is not so great at an era where everybody passes normally through the airports checks, except the tall brown guy .... who must be searched and researched over and over

Being an arab is not so much of a blessing at an era where your application to a job is returned to you while a friend called John with less qualifications is accepted.

Brother this world is a test for everyone, people's situations differ immensely, and Muslims have always been attacked from the very first day Islam began. No doubt your struggle is great, and i for one do not put a blind eye to what the situation of the Muslims are at this day and age. But Allah is here for the believers, and with Allah we have everything, for the Hereafter (the Eternal life) awaits us inshaAllah!

My situation to yours is different, but truly you are blessed to know arabic, and you have been honoured by Allah to know the very language that He (SWT) has revealed the Qur'an with! Your struggle is witnessed by Allah and He will reward you, even if it is an atoms weight of good that you are doing inshaAllah! Many people are in a less unfortunate state than you and i, so we praise Allah always with the hope that He'd guide us and help us in this transitory life to gain His paradise inshaAllah!

Just like to share with you some ayahs from the Qur'an...it makes me wonder how lucky we are to be Muslims! Alhamdulillah this is a honour on it's own!

“Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah — Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest”
[al-Ra’d 13:28]

and He says:
“And We send down of the Qur’aan that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it)”
[al-Isra’ 17:82]

“O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur’aan, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that which is in your breasts, — a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers” [Yunus 10:57]

As you can see! Allah knows about us already! He knows that we are weak!!
When something distressed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) he would turn to prayer.

Remember that the most sorely tested of all people were the Prophets, then the next best and the next best. It is proven in al-Musnad from the hadeeth of Mus’ab ibn Sa’d that his father said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most sorely tested? He said: “The Prophets, then the righteous, then the next best, then the next best of people. A man will be tested according to his level of religious commitment. If there is some solidness in his religious commitment, he will be more sorely tested, and if there is some weakness in his religious commitment the test will be lightened for him. A man will continue to be tested until he walks upon the face of the earth with no sin on him.” Musnad al-Imam Ahmad, no. 1481.

Du’a is a powerful weapon for those who are able to use it, so pray to Allah and be certain that Allah will respond, and seek the means of having your du’a accepted, such as living the halaal way, and choosing the good times to make du’a. Beware of seeking a speedy response, for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The du’a of any one of you will be answered so long as he does not seek to hasten it, and does not say, ‘I made du’a but I had no answer.’” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5865; Muslim, 2735, from the hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah).

I ask Allah to grant us a way out soon and to bless us with a beautiful life insha Allah. And Allah is the Source of strength.

Try your best to be positive and to forget about such feelings and think about Paradise and all the blessings that Allah has granted us...

Remember Allah loves those whom He tests, and the Prophet's who were the best of people were tested greatly, then the next best, then the next, so know that Allah loves us and put your trust, hope and faith in Him and He will give you a way out inshaAllah.

Ukhtuka fil Islam, Wa'salam.

mashaaAllah

thank you very much for this very kind and very encouraging post.

may Allah reward you and bless you

I really appreciate this.

It has been long time that no one has talked to me in this very positive and very encouraging way.

may Allah bless your heart and eyes and reward you immensely.

you are right : we are still less unfortunate than many others.

I do admit that at difficult times, I tend to forget this fact ..

O Allah, forgive me

Ameen ya Rabb!

We are human and we tend to forget many times, but no matter what situation don't forget that Allah is here, and we are on a better state than those who are misguided, we have been guided alhamdulillah! Read istigfhar, and Qur'an and pray to Allah the Accepter of prayers, and indeed Allah loves those who are patient...He will reward you well inshaAllah!

Brother whereabouts are the arabic posts? Are there any posts where there are arabic phrases with translations?
