i feel somewhat embarrassed - as if i accused you of lying but you never said you were American and i just presumed that you weren't...  i am sorry for that.

Hey, your post did not come off in any way but positive.  I enjoyed everything you all offer.  I am in no way upset about American thing, in fact I did not read that much into it.

As far as off work it is just that, I work twelve-hour days and seven days a week. Therefore, with family and work I figure would be better on day off.

It is not so much as being uncomfortable going to mosque as the fact that must Christian churches try to recruit you to their faith that day if not sooner.

I am really moved by Islamic faith and do not want to ruin it by them asking me to commit to it that day.

I could lie and say sure and do it, but I have too much respect for that.  I must learn more before I could possibly make a "true commitment to it", and if not "true" than I do not want to do it. 

However if mosque can help me learn truth so I can make that true commitment than I am all for it.

from your profile, it's like that you have a yahoo account. there's a bot with the YM account : "quran.noble" that may help you to find particular topic within Quran and several book of Hadith. just add and "buzz" 'em. Then follow its instruction. Hope that would help.

Your struggle to find the truth has inspired me that was being Islam from my childhood. This give me motivation the learn Islam more. I can say nothing but thank you very much. I pray that you'll join muslim line soon.
