Everyone equal treatment in after life or you earn reword?
« on: Friday 22 August 2008, 17:04 »
2.281] And guard yourselves against a day in which you shall be returned to Allah; then every soul shall be paid back in full what it has earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.

Do I understand this correctly that we all will receive rewards they have earned?

In the same time that each will receive the punishment the have earned?

This has been a long-standing issue with me in Christianity that all receive same reword or punishment.

I kind of understand that if a murder, and constant sinner does repent just before death they should be treated fairly, but also understand that person who does good works his whole life and fallows the strait path could have problem with a sinner getting equal treatment.

Thank you
Dan Sims

This is quiet a long study to understand the issue. Because there's a lot of verses and Hadith that address the issue.

Yes, we're going to received every rewards and sin we do. BTW, who's "they" you're refering to?

We will be thrown to hellfire to "clean" our sins before we can entering paradise.

our place in paradise and hellfire is based on our level of sins and reward we have.

for a heavy duty sinner, there's always a way to make him possible to enter Jannah/paradise if he repent just before death. But he has to clean his sins in hellfire before he enter Jannah.

This issue is one of Allah's secret. Only prophet Muhammad s.a.w, 10 first companion, and fews that was guaranteed to enter Jannah without entering hell (I only address with moslem, prophets and his companion other than prophet Muhammad s.a.w was not considered here). The rest of muslim place in Jannah and Naar (hellfire) is unknown. So everyone of us must struggle to achieve Jannah by avoiding sins and after for rewards.

The they I was referring to was extreme sinners, as murders.

You answered it very well.

A sinner who murdered, and other great sins all of his life, would burn longer to cleanse their sins.

In comparison to some one who has always tried to do the correct thing but made a few mistakes.

However if both ask for forgiveness and mean it, and accept 4Wl.

Then they will eventually meet up in paradise.

Allah can forgive anything, so it is His Will if a person who repents will go to hell or heaven.
Muslims believe that after facing the Judgment of Allah , people will be either admitted to Heaven by His mercy, or entered into Hell by His justice.
inshAllah   :)

Forgivenes is one of 4Wl secret. We just do our best and pray for the best. But there's a sins that 4Wl never forgive, that's is "syirik" (can anyone tell me how to spell correctly and explain the word?)

hm I think its shirk  :)(disbelief),. A person commits shirk if he/she acts, says, or thinks anything thats blasphemous and that takes one out of the deen (religion). So if for e.g. a person says Allah has an equal, he/she is no longer a muslim and will need to say shahadah ( testification of faith) again.
Allah can forgive anything because He can do anything, so if a person repents and becomes muslim again, it is Allah's will.
inshAllah

This is what the People of Book say. They say, admitting, that they will go to hellfire but deceive themselves with the notion that it will be so for sometime/numbered days. Grand Quran replies: Have they taken a pledge/promise from Allah about it? If so Allah will not go against His promise; but in fact you people utter/follow conjecture.
The same deception is now penetrated into the folk who claim to be Muslims.

I guess what I am trying to figure out is this.

Several places in Holy Qur’an is mentioned that they will burn for a little while, and I heard one place where it mentions burning until your sins are paid for.

I know some Christians believe that you will descend into hell for a while, and then be bought up for judgment day.

Do Muslims believe that a murder will spend more time burning for his sin vs. a person who ate during fast?

Or

Do they believe once forgiven everyone will go to heaven and get same rewords?

I hope I explained this better.

Thanks
Dan Sims

This too is absolutely incorrect perception and equal to distortion of the statement of the Grand Quran. Just before death Pharoah had also declared himself to be amongst Muslims. He said "I am amongst Muslims". Just before death, all is over, accepting truth at that point of time will not benefit anyone as determined and declared in plain words by the Grand Quran.

A word of caution; on forums people keep posting things about which they personally do not have any knowledge from the Book. Quran has declared amongst others this too as Haram {prohibited}"to say something attributing to Allah about which they do not have knowledge". So anything one says about which he has no knowledge does a thing which has explicitly been declared Haram.
