I've been told that it is permissible for a Muslim man to marry a Christian woman. But why is it doubtful the other way round??? Someone please help me on this...

Shias and Sunnis are both muslims. They may have slight variations in the way they practise religion, but those differences in no way make one a Muslim and the other a Non-Muslim. Therefore I see nothing wrong with the marriage between Sunnis and Shias.

From what i have heard, Shia's do not accept Ali RA to be a the 4th Caliph, they say He should have been the Prophet, is this is the case...it will be very confusing for the 2 to intergrate, since the beliefs will differ...i am not 100% about this...i will look into it further and get back to you all inshaAllah!
