it's true that suicide bombing like 9/11 was not part of Jihad (as there is no chalipate that declaring war against USA), but that doesn't mean the meaning of Jihad are being returned to only its basic meaning.

Jihad in Islam has been specifically realted to war, either offensive and defensive. Offensive Jihad can only be declared by a chaliphate which not existed today, and defensive Jihad is when we are attacked by enemy like in Palestine. Either way, it is the way of Islam to spread its teaching/da'waa and to protect humanity. The truth are sometimes can only be delivered by power.

Quran:9.At-Taubah- 24.
"Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.""

Quran:60.Al-Mumtahinah-1.
"O you who have believed, do not take My enemies and your enemies as allies, extending to them affection while they have disbelieved in what came to you of the truth, having driven out the Prophet and yourselves [only] because you believe in Allah, your Lord. If you have come out for jihad in My cause and seeking means to My approval, [take them not as friends]. You confide to them affection, but I am most knowing of what you have concealed and what you have declared. And whoever does it among you has certainly strayed from the soundness of the way."

People that hate Islam and moslem has spread their lie of Islam and related the glorious teaching with the wrongly terror. There is a strong evidence that those wrong act of terror are their trick to make Islam look bad. Spread only the truth, not the their wanted to be the truth as stated in quran :

Translation Of The Meanings Of The Glorious Quran.
Surah:2.Al-Baqarah - 120

"And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper. "

This 'fitnaa' will never be solved unless the chaliphate and khilafah is bringing back to our live. The work for khilafah is the highest work and an obligation for every moslem.

4.24] And all married women except those whom your right hands possess (this is) Allah's ordinance to you, and lawful for you are (all women) besides those, provided that you seek (them) with your property, taking (them) in marriage not committing fornication. Then as to those whom you profit by, give them their dowries as appointed; and there is no blame on you about what you mutually agree after what is appointed; surely Allah is Knowing, Wise.
[4.25] And whoever among you has not within his power ampleness of means to marry free believing women, then (he may marry) of those whom your right hands possess from among your believing maidens; and Allah knows best your faith: you are (sprung) the one from the other; so marry them with the permission of their masters, and give them their dowries justly, they being chaste, not fornicating, nor receiving paramours; and when they are taken in marriage, then if they are guilty of indecency, they shall suffer half the punishment which is (inflicted) upon free women. This is for him among you who fears falling into evil; and that you abstain is better for you, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful


I have a book called the "mMeaning of the Holy Quran" it not only transates it into english but also give some helpful notes and meaning or verses.

Well on these two it says that Right hand posses means a captive from Jihad, not a slave due to dept like I thought it meant.

If Jihad is referring to a personel strive to be a better Muslim.  Than how could one get captives from a Jihad?

Is this a misquote in my book, or something I am not understanding?
