I disagree with what is said in the article above.

A consistent cardio workout, 30-45min a day, will a lot of fat. Combine that with a low-fat, low-calorie diet and you'll lose weight the healthy way. No need to do ab-exercises or anything. Don't make yourself just appear healthy, work towards actual health. Cardio will do just that for you.

There's tons of "weight-loss" plans out there, from Atkin's to anti-fat pills. Whatever happened to good old fashioned effort? I've seen a lot of people starving themselves lately, and that's just a silly way to try and loose weight because your body will eventually adjust to working with only that much food. Then, when you return to your normal amount of food, you get fat again.

I think crunches on an exercise ball is the best you get effect of pulling abs up and the stretching off abs as you bend back words.

Not that I have a six-pack.  Lack of will power and too much food.

I have joined gym. I started slow and was very happy but I got sprain in my ankle. I did nor stop but slowed down more. Other thing is that my feet get hot using the treadmill.
But I will continue.

Many of these injuries you are experiencing are common when one starts working out consistently. I notice that even if I take a few days off, I always get bad stomach cramps on the first day back. I remember it being very painful in the beginning as well, but if you follow through, you body will get accustomed to the work and you will no longer get pains so often.

I am happy to hear that you have the willpower to continue, it says a lot about you as a person.
